McKayla Yunker is a senior at Lakeside highschool this year! She has been cheering competitively for the past 13 years, 2 years with Twist Cheer, and the following 11 years with Geneva Xtreme. McKayla wants to further cheerleading at the collegiate level after this last year of high school. McKayla is a Bronze coach, as well as coaching both tumble classes and rec. One of her favorite things about being a Vikings coach is the children and just making them smile. It means so much to her seeing the gymnasts get a new skill. The athletes make her so proud and she appreciates the hard work they give in.
